Penalties are in place to deal with employers who contravene the national minimum wage once it's implemented. National Minimum Wage Bill is expected to be implemented from the 1st of May. Under the new law, employers will have to pay their staff a minimum wage of R20 an hour. eNCA's John Bailey has the story.
