The march toward getting the Republican nomination to run against Pres. Barack Obama in November continues and gets nastier every day. Will it hurt the Republican Party more than the rising price of gas will hurt the President? We'll talk about that later in the show; but, first, Maryland governor Martin O'Malley signed into law the bill legalizing gay marriage this week. Maryland is the eighth state to legalize same-sex marriage. It's a big win for gay rights activists, but some African-American ministers and others are not happy and vow to continue the fight. Bishop Harry Jackson of Hope Christian Church; and Rev. Delman Coates of Mt. Ennon Baptist Church joined Roland Martin on Washington Watch to discuss the legalization of same-sex marriage in Maryland.
