In 1998, Konami revolutionized rhythm gaming with Dance Dance Revolution. In 2000, Jaleco perfected the formula with Stepping Selection! Stepping Selection won fans worldwide for its unbelievably cheesy live-action background videos, which are now available in the best possible quality via Retro Pals Video!

These videos were originally uploaded to YouTube more than 12 years ago (!), but the extraction and conversion tools available at the time were primitive, resulting in heavy compression, lost frames, and inconsistent performance. These new versions are recorded using original PlayStation 2 hardware with component video output, color correction, and Framemeister upscaling. Now you can enjoy classic videos like Footloose, My Sharona, and Ghostbusters in 720p, just as Jaleco intended!

New Stepping Selection HD music videos will premiere daily on the Retro Pals YouTube channel from December 3rd through the 25th as we close out 2018. Enjoy your holidays and ring in the new year with your friends at Jaleco!
