Raging Chicken Press is a newer progressive independent media outlet based in Kutztown, PA. The press was founded as a response to the significant education cuts that were enacted by Tom Corbett, Governor of Pennsylvania. The group is not directly affiliated with Kutztown University, however it is available for the students. Founder and Professor Kevin Mahoney discusses the student interest, and the changes he's noticed in students being able to participate in activist projects. Most notably, he's noticed that students have less time than ever before and RCP's main presence is online.
