Ericsson 4 wins VOR Leg 7 in Galway

Ericsson 4 took maximum points when she crossed the finish of Volvo Ocean Race leg seven in Galway in first position. She finished after taking seven days, 10 hours, 33 minutes and 51 seconds to sail across the North Atlantic from Boston. The crew of Ericsson 4, skippered by Brazilian two-time Olympic gold medallist Torben Grael, snatched a second consecutive leg victory.
