It was a "full house" at the Opening Night celebration of AFI DOCS presented by Audi. Flanked by the U.S. Capitol, a steady stream of filmmakers and DC VIPs walked the red-carpet at the Newseum before watching the theatrical premiere of Bill Couturie's much anticipated documentary LETTERS TO JACKIE. The interactive venue, which houses news and journalism artifacts, was transformed into a glamorous reception space, à la Jackie O'. After the film (and the applause ended) guests mingled and enjoyed food by THE SOURCE by Wolfgang Puck. What a great night, and even better way to kick off AFI DOCS presented by Audi!
