Everyone who's ever run through the Chicago Loop can appreciate how difficult it can be to get a solid GPS tracing in an urban area. Can a foot pod excel where GPS is unreliable?

I took the Garmin #Vivoactive3 , the #AppleWatchSeries4Nike , the iPhone with #Strava, and the Under Armour Hovr CGR Mid ( #UAConnect ) on my run commute for 5 consecutive days. As a control, I measured the run via #MapMyRun

The results were surprising. The foot pod did really well, as I expected. But the rest of the GPS results were a bit of a surprise.

This test focused on GPS tracing accuracy (i.e. route) and distance. I looked at paces, somewhat, but it wasn't something I took records of.

I've donated 5 pounds and hope you'll consider joining me

I'm looking to donate $5 to a different charity runner every day. If you know someone who is running for charity, let me know in a comment; message me on IG, Twitter, or Facebook; or send me an email. I'd love to donate $5 to their cause and spotlight them on the channel.
