This is the fourth in my historical series. Because I'm using a drum machine, I can date this to sometime about 1988-1990. Again, this was recorded with my Tascam Porta-One. Had some obvious problems with the solo...

The vocals, well..........

It's coming up, the weekend
We've been waiting all week
Wednesday was the worst day
But today I'm at my peak

Yeh, Friday's almost over
My desk and I do part
The 5:30 bell rings
Yeh, well the partying starts

Wild beer in the garden
Growing in between the leaves
Yeh, pick one off the vine
And drink it by the peas

Peek at your watch
In a minute look again
It's only 9:30
When will this day ever end

After work festivities
Catch me by the rye
Praying for the weekend
To last another day

Midnight sun
The billboards they do cry
Well have a little more fun
Because tomorrow's Saturday
