A: In order for your relative to be eligible to support your New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program Skilled Worker application, he or she needs to be a close relative with Canadian citizenship or permanent residence residing in New Brunswick. Your relative must have been either operating a business in the province for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the application, or have been working in the province for the same amount of time in a NOC 0, A, B or C category 1, 3, 7, 8, 9. Your supporting family needs to be financially self-supporting, and assist you with making a Settlement Plan. A family supporter can support only one applicant at a time.
