catching wild Entei. the first three encounters I had with him, I used Scyther's False Swipe to cut his HP. the fourth encounter, Gengar used Hypnosis to put him to sleep. the fifth time, I put wobbuffet first in my party and it's Shadow Tag ability keeps Entei from fleeing the battle. i only recorded the encounter that i caught him. it took about 3 hours and a little bit of luck. once you have his HP down and put him to sleep, save the game. that way if he wakes up from sleep and manages to escape, you can restart your game and the next time you see him, he will be weak and ready to catch. good luck! i caught Raikou with this same strategy.
