A silly story from my elementary days, in response to slcwitchboi's crazy school tales. I cut a lot out because I ramble, so if you care about the other little details of the story, ask and I will gladly write you a novel. Not really, but I do write a lot. Also, there are several versions of the Squire's Castle story. Some say this version is completely false, and she actually died peacefully at home. But this version is the first I was told by the people who work there. Also, the caretaker lived in the carriage house, so caretaker's cottage=carriage house.
