Hermit Crab with Anemone switching shells

My recently purchased hermit crab with anemone switching shells.  He seems scared without the anemones, however, and changes back a few seconds later.  I am not sure if maybe I should help him by removing his anemones and putting them on the new/larger shell?

You can see him change shells at 3:15ish then back to his old shell a little after.

Sorry the video is dark, but he comes out and feels safe at night.  He probably wouldn't change shells with the light on.
