A song I wrote as an homage to my number one president. Thanks to video footage from: The BBC, www.crewwestinc.com, www.guardian.co.uk and the singing voices of Nijah Friend, Patti Davidson-Gorbea and all those who participated!

Celebrate Obama

Celebrate Obama
Celebrate Obama,
Commander and Chief
Much to all of our relief;
Mister President

He came into the office with a hope and with a dream
Overcoming a recession with the help of a great team
You know he's had his haters and his thwarters on the way
But he's kept us movin' forward and we're better off today, so

We're movin' in a new direction
Got it, some are scared
They're not used to living in a world
In which the health of all is cared

It's a new embracing
And encasing of a each other's state
Your well being I am seeing
Is entwined into my fate

Asking those who live with more
To help the ones with less
Is the way the world has always worked
When we spread happiness

Celebrate Obama
Celebrate Obama,
Commander and Chief
Much to all of our relief;
Mister President
