This is a tramatic reading of "Steven Weinberg and I", a blog by the stand-Up Physicist available at Science20.com. I don't like Steven Weinberg. A sketch of his life and accomplishments is provided. We disagree on what I call scientific beliefs, ideas that extend beyond the reach of a scientific theory. The first example concerns the importance of the standard model to DNA. I read Weinberg's view from his book, "Dreams of a Final Theory", I don't think the standard model is vital for understanding DNA because Nature doesn't use that math in this context. Weinberg doesn't think one can have definitions of beauty, love, and fear. I counter that definitions are part of the scientific process, so provide my own definitions of these three. Steven is confident quantum mechanics will remain unaltered. I think visualization may radically alter our understanding of quantum mechanics.
