SOULAR ENERGY: Harmony Amidst Imbalance
Personal Lessons from the Sun's 28-Year Cycle

Is your life full of inconsistencies? Are you lacking harmony? Can one achieve balance in a life filled with so many pressures and anxieties, with so many forces and demands tugging us in different directions?

Many of the most important lessons in life can be learned from looking around you. Nature is perhaps the greatest educator of all. As we approach an historical event -- the conclusion of the 28-year solar cycle, what can the sun teach us about our lives? We are alive because of sunlight. We have tanned in the sun (and even been burned), basked in its warmth, tapped a bit of its energy, watched its' majestic rise and set. But is there more?

The solar year is 365.25 (or to be more exact: 365.24219) days. If the cycle were exactly 365 days, the sun would return to the same exact spot at the same exact time each year. Due to the .25 day addition, it takes 28 years for the sun to return to its original location at the same day and hour. The question, however, is: in a world of so much eloquent symmetry why did the Divine plan not include a balanced solar cycle -- a perfect 365 days, which would have made life a lot simpler?

The answer -- and its relevance -- will surprise you, as will this entire fascinating lecture by Rabbi Jacobson, exploring this once-in-a-28-year phenomenon, which has now been celebrated 206 times since the beginning of history. Join us 8:15PM EST tonight (either in person if you are in NY, or online anywhere the sun shines in this world), and learn to connect with the sun in new ways. Discover the psycho-spiritual connection to Passover -- and come away refreshed and empowered by a new exposure to the suns rays, but this time, in ways that will only enhance and reintroduce harmony in your personal life and your relationships.
