Chief executive officer of Japanese mobile career Softbank, Masayoshi Son, douses himself in ice water for the ice bucket challenge. The challenge has become a global phenomenon with celebrities and like Facebook's CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Microsoft founder Bill Gates and football sensation Cristiano Ronaldo dousing themselves in freezing water and posting the videos on the internet. The challenge part of an effort to raise awareness for the neuro degenerative disease Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. Those who have completed the challenge can nominate others to do the same. Report by Jennifer Cordingley.
