I normally don't upload battles like this. I very rarely run into these kinds of teams, actually, despite othert people on Youtube complaining constantly about them. So essensially, this is what happened. When you see Ubers with hold items, it's never a good sign. After that Draco Meteor bombardment on the first turn, I believed I was dealing with someone at least semi-compotent. (At the very least, they weren't one of those foolish fools who use Roar of Time at the first oppertunity) I started to think: "there's no way I can stand up to something like this..." But fortune favors those who try. Even though the movesets turned out to be... not quite as good as I"d expected, I still consider it a feat in itself to overcome Pokemon with vastly greater base stats. Actually, this seems like the video to explain my feelings about Ubers. I hate this "any Pokemon can beat any Pokemon, it just requires stratergy" crap I often see on Youtube. Anyone who says this most likely hasn't faced EV trained Ubers before. They were always meant to be vastly superior to standard Pokemon, and Nintendo IS aware of this. Why else would they ban most Ubers from the Battle Tower/Frountier? One look at their base stats will tell you that even non-EV'd Ubers give the one using them an immediate advantage. Sorry about that rant, anyway... Here you'll see Gardevoir. It was mainly created from my desire to use Icy Wind in Doubles. (lowering speed of both opponents can be invaluable) You might think that it's a bit counter-intuitive when I've got Tailwind, but Icy Wind means that, once Tailwind's gone, I'll still have a slight speed advantage and, more importantly, will have an easier time setting Tailwind up again. Depending on the situation, I'll either use Tailwind once or spam the hell out of it. After that, Gardevoir supports the team with Reflect (and I might put Light Screen there too) and modest attacking capabilities. On another note, sorry for the abrupt change in music towards the end, I just thought it suited the situation...
