Clearwater Beach, FL. I like walking on the beach. Was in the mid 70s today. Too many people though.

I am getting better acquainted with this, Panasonic HC-X920. I would rather have a professional camera for the manual controls. This camera gives me access to most of the controls... but it is not the same. There are limitations to the controls as you are shooting. Having said that, to get a camera with better quality and control would be $1500 more than this camera cost. It is a 3-4 year old model. B&H had it recently on sale, discounted $350. It is hard to get a cam with this quality for three times its - $650 price tag. I added a $60 mini shotgun mic, and also bought an Opteka X-Grip stabilizer. This is a 3 chip camera. I did not use a tripod for any of this footage. This was shot in1080 60p and rendered at 30p.

Editing was in a trial version of Power Director. Most of the clips have been color tweaked. With no waveform monitor, it was difficult to do what I wanted. This cheapo laptop is not very accurate for color correcting... really cheap monitor.

I still need to checkout Pinnacle Studio 20 Ultimate, and a few other editors.
