Ok so I wash everything out of my hair. Now I put in the setting lotion (used QP foam setting lotion). I didn't use the organic root stimulator olive oil hair lotion. The lotion leaves a litte bit of residue and the smell tends to linger (it does not smell bad but I dont like it when a product leaves a lingering smell). I'll be putting it on after it drys. I think you should put it on when its damp.... Other than that it works pretty well.......
