Step 4 of the easter egg 'Cryogenic Slumber Party'
Once you have the metal ball in the satellite dish shoot it with the wave gun and simply follow it until it gets lodged in the dial on the pyramid!
If it gets stuck in the rafters in the semtex room it is perfectly normal! Just shoot it with a raygun or throw grenades/semtexes at it.
