NJT 5907 reminds me of yesteryear

New Jersey Transit Train 5907, the Raritan Valley Line local to Plainfield, reminds me of when I first started going out onto the RVL, when there was no such thing as a PL42AC.  It's funny; when I first started going out there, F40's were the only engines I was seeing, aside from the occasional GP40, and I used to think that the F40's were so boring. Now that they are on other lines, and the RVL is mostly PL42's, I have started to miss seeing these things.  Today's consist is F40PH-2CAT 4119 with 6 Comet coaches.
