Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is an upcoming fighting role-playing video game being developed by Dimps and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment based on the Dragon Ball franchise. It is the sequel to Dragon Ball Xenoverse and will release on October 25, 2016. for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and on October 28 for Microsoft Windows. In Japan, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be released only on PlayStation 4. It will be the second Dragon Ball video game released on eighth generation video game consoles. So far 68 characters have been confirmed, including Goku Black from Dragon Ball Super as a pre-order bonus.

The game would have a new protagonist.[9] Xenoverse 2 takes place two years after the events of the first game, with the protagonist joining the now expanded Time Patrol, as the course of history begins changing again. The protagonist has to fight their way to make history right again and also has to make decisions.
