Definition of *COMRADE* = "One who has shared the same ordeal".
Jeff and I were on the Apollo together, however he lasted in the Sea Org 15 years
longer than me.
He is the author of the blog "Leaving Scientology".
He is also the author of the book "Counterfeit Dreams". In one dramatic story in the book he describes how he walks up to the Pacific Ocean (Los Angeles coast line) and takes off his solid gold ring awarded to him for 35 years of Sea Org service, and he hurls the ring into the ocean, This was a symbolic gesture which gave him pleasure. That era of his life was over.
