A candid interview with our shy scriptwriter revealed quite the nostalgia for a childhood filled with much merriment and wide-eyed wonder, where as kids the cacophony of jarring discordance -- that so often flows between "grown-ups" today -- existed no more than as a rather insignificant complement to the preeminence of joyous and innocent play, a golden period of revelry most of us undoubtedly would have experienced with our childhood buddies and kampong mates during those seemingly bygone years.
