Do This Before Upgrading To Windows 8

Before you upgrade your computer to Windows 8, run the Microsoft Windows 8 Upgrade Assistant to see if your computer and its programs are compatible with Windows 8. Some programs work with Windows 8 and some don't. Before you upgrade your Microsoft computer to the Windows 8 operating system, run the upgrade assistant and see what it tells you. The Windows Upgrade Assistant will look at your hardware to make sure it is able to run Windows 8, and it will look at your programs and tell you which ones may not work with Windows8. If any of these programs are important to you, you may not want to upgrade to Windows 8 until a Windows 8 version of the program is released.
