well since my blue cross blue shield health insurance went from 217 a month,then to 800 a month then to 1170 a month, i have no insurance. I tried getting her some insurance through the obamacare debacle and they said because of my present level of income, (zero) she would qualify for medicaid until her medicare kicks in ,in may. but the problem is she has had cancer ( as well as a miriad of other medical probs)and needs quarterly catscans to be sure that there is no new cancer growth. The scan is about 4000 bucks (i dont have it) and she is 2 months past when she should have had one. so,to continue the story, i got in touch with medicaid and they informed me that we didnt qualify for that because my wife gets 800 bucks a month in disability and that is over their cutoff for medicaid qualification. so we go back to obamacare and tell them this and they dont know what to do. we go through several different levels of "supervisors all telling us the same thing. we cant get obamacare. so after 2 months of this kind of run around, i contacted my rep and he assures me something will be done and done quickly once he understood that this is something she needs in order to fight it if it comes back. There you have it. a long story.
