Patrick Trompiz read Mathematics and Philosophy at Oxford before taking up his Philosophy PhD in Poland, undeterred by the fact that he had to learn Polish first. For fifteen years he has been a partner in one of Warsaws leading language and training organisations while, in parallel, building up the Art of Living Foundations activities across Europe. He is deeply interested in issues surrounding personal development and teaches stress management, communication and conflict resolution in environments ranging from the corporate boardroom to a high security prison. To relax he reaches for yoga and the simple pleasures of football. Patrick's TEDxWarsaw http://tedxwarsaw.com talk centered on where good ideas really come from. About TEDx, x=independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events which bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
