Chinese man makes bizarre costumes out of hangers and curtains

A man strutting down the streets of south-west China in his one-of-a-kind costumes has left passers-by gawking. Dou Xiaogang, a 38-year-old designer from Meishan, Sichuan has been fashioning bizarre outfits out of everyday items including bamboo fans, spoons and hangers. One of his creations involved an entire curtain - along with the rod - draped over his body. While many had called him 'a lunatic' and a 'mad man', the designer said he hoped to transform such mundane objects into works of art.
