WFP is running out of funds for its operations in Syria and neighbouring countries and we have reached a critical point where drastic cutbacks are unavoidable. “This month, for many Syrians the food is about to stop. And Syrians who have already lost everything will now go hungry,” warned WFP’s Executive Director Ertharin Cousin. “Please help the World Food Programme to help them,” United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees António Guterres appealed to the international community.
