2017 Shop with the Sheriff

The Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff recently hosted its annual Shop with the Sheriff. This year, 22 deserving children from West Contra Costa were paired up with sworn staff of all ranks for this event. They started the day shopping at Walmart for themselves and their families. They then went to a local YMCA to wrap their gifts and have lunch. A wonderful time was had by all who participated. The Shop with the Sheriff is a great way to build relations between law enforcement and children. This is the fourth year in a row the Sheriff's Office has hosted the event. Thanks to all of the generous donors who made this event a success!
