Shooting inside Wilmington Courthouse, Several Wounded, Gunman Dead - Delaware

WILMINGTON, Del. - February 11, 2013 (WPVI) -- There are reports of several injuries after gunfire erupted inside the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas in Wilmington, Delaware Monday morning. The shooting happened at approximately 8:15 a.m. at the courthouse, located at 500 N King Street. Wilmington Mayor Dennis Williams tells Action News that the shooter is deceased. Two women and a man were shot - the male victim is security personnel at the courthouse. Details about the severity of the injuries sustained in the incident have not been released. Local and federal authorities responded to the scene. The courthouse was evacuated and officers are conducting a search of the building.
