I had never know what I will do in Mumbai but I always wanted to come down to Mumbai, said Gairi shinde in Loksatta -- Viva Lounge event. I wanted to do something related to television & moving images. I was working with advertising company and there I was in film department, where I started liking advertising. I am very grateful for my advertising because all my training had been done there,  Gauri said. Before getting into advertising, I took a small break and went to New York to do a film course. There I made a short film, which was selected for Berlin international film festival and work started coming to me. So far I have directed between 80 to 100 commercials, Gauri added.
