So much of where we can go depends on how we are scaffolded. With support and guidance, we achieve so much more than we could achieve alone. But how do we scaffold not only ourselves, but each other as well? What are the best ways to build ourselves up? In this talk, we will examine the theories behind scaffolding as well as check out some impressive scaffolding and buildings! Open to all architecture and learning theory enthusiasts!

Emily is passionate about inclusion, diversity, and their intersection with discourse and rhetoric. How people talk about the things that matter is the first step in creating dynamic and long-lasting change. She is currently pursuing her PhD, analyzing the language of leadership and the accessibility of leadership. It is critical that we deconstruct systems and understand better how to create opportunities for change that will create equality and promote diversity.
