Always End on a Good Note - a Quick Tip from Pentland & the Gate

At the Mountain Trail Clinic we were faced with a gate - which Pentland had not practiced before. It was a challenge for sure, but what is important is to take it one step at a time and end on a good note. We worked through the gate and I ended up putting Pentlands feet where I wanted them to end up - no giving up because then all he would remember was the frustration or confusion - instead we end on a note of clarity and relaxation. Quick tip is to slow things down and end on a good note. Have fun with your horse!
