Food: Nuts from wild palm trees and fruits, especially the stone, which it crushes with its powerful beak. Geographical Distribution: It occurs in most of the Brazilian States, except: South Region, Acre, Ceará and Espírito Santo. It also occurs in the East of the Andes, Venezuela, Guianas, Central-West Bolivia and Southeast Peru.
