Ginga Densetsu Weed Full Opening Drum & Vocal Cover

Ok, last video of 2017. :)

This is my second anime cover with vocals also and it sure was a huge undertaking to make. Not the least because of Japanese vocals or the very high pitched melody which is
definitely at the very top of my abilities as my vocal range isn't that high. But after decent time practising, I did it good enough. I have never before put such an effort to any cover video, but the positive reception of my Ginga Nagareboshi Gin cover was so overwhelming I felt I will not disappoint on this one.

Drums I recorded early 2017 in the same session with GNG drumtrack. It was hastily done, but it turned out to be decent.

There's a lot of first and second times on this video. This was the second time I record vocals in Japanese, first time that I actually speak Japanese on the intro, second Ginga themed video with both vocals and drums and first time that I do real deal high pitched power metal vocals. :)

I would like to thank Simo Koivistoinen for giving me a hand with recordings, Tuomas Talka for acting as a middle man, Erkki Halme for lending his Japanese language skills to my aid, all my friends who have supported me and all viewers. Special thanks to my faithful subscribers who haven't forgot about me regardless of long breaks from video making.

And last, but not least I would like to thank the awesome people of Ginga Board for your support and for taking me to your pack as one of your own. This video is dedicated for you guys!

Lyrics:

Arekuruu arashi ni asu ga mienaku tomo
In this raging storm, it's hard to see a tomorrow

Kokoronaki sekai ni fuminijirare you to
It's as if you're being crushed by this pitiless world

Kesshite kujikezu
Never let it break you

Tachiagaru no da
Stand tall...

Na mo naki kusa no inochi no gotoku
... with all the vitality of a nameless weed

WEED!
Hashire! WEED! Omae no kagayaku yuuki ga
Run, Weed! Your courage will shine!

WEED!
Hoero! WEED! Yami o kirisaku hoshi ni naru no sa
Howl, Weed! Become the star that pierces through the darkness!

Ginga Densetsu WEED!
Silver Fang Legacy: Weed!

Mayonaka no fubuki ni ashiato kesare te mo
Though this blizzard in the pitch blackness may cover your footprints...

Kanashiki shukumei ni uchi hishigare you to
... and you feel the weight of a harrowing fate bearing down on you...

Wakaki chikara yo tadashiku nobi yo
... spread virtue with your budding power...

Tomo to chikatta kizuna o mune ni
... and with the ties you've pledged with your friends kept in your heart

WEED!
Moero! WEED! Omae no yasashii kokoro ga
Shine, Weed! With your kind nature!

WEED!
Tatakae! WEED! Seigi tsuranuku kiba ni naru no sa
Fight, Weed! Become the fangs that deliver justice!
