Figure is Propellerhead's new music production app for iOS. I'm a huge Propellerhead fan, and a music production enthusiast. Let me start by telling you this thing is awesome! It's so easy to use and the interface is so clean! Figure is powered by Reason sounds which if your familiar with, are great. Making great music has never been so simple on an iOS device.The only thing I found wrong with this app so far is the ability to save or export projects. While this is a pretty big downside right now, I'm almost certain Propellerhead will see the need and push out an update soon.

I also think an update to make Figure universally support the new iPad's Retina Display would be great. As of now, Figure is only an iPhone app. But none-the-less, it's still one of the best apps I've found of it's kind. And just in the day of it's release, it's become a valid contender in the music production world of apps for iOS.

    No previous playing skills required
    Tweak and twist tracks on the fly
