After almost a year and a half from hiatus, Fantasmic finally returned last weekend to the Rivers of America at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA! However, Disney decided to update and refurbish the classical show w/ updated projection effects, updated soundtrack, new lasers and a few new characters to join Mickey Mouse's journey into his imagination...and a few other surprises along the way! I was able to watch a sneak preview of the new Fantasmic 2.0 last Sunday night (7-16) during D23 Expo Weekend before it's grand premiere on Monday, July 17th (Disneyland's Birthday) and IMO, it's even better than the original, but there are a few scenes that might not feel right! Regardless of that, the new Fantasmic still looks and sounds great as its ever been. It's not the best video I shot, but you can at least see what's going on LOL! Enjoy the show!
