--Overall Comments--

Discord realizes that he’s never invited Fluttershy over for tea at his place.  However, preparing for her visit leaves him with worry that Fluttershy will realize just how different the two are.

Friendship is Magic is back with a one-two episode punch this week!  While not sporting quite as much music or emotion as “The Perfect Pear,” “Discordant Harmony” still stands on its own with plenty of wacky Discord tracks, including singing tea bags, and a surprisingly emotional score to cap it off.  You’ll hear plenty of returning in new themes in the twelfth episode of season seven.

--Track Specific Comments--

Discord attempts to purchase some tea from a shop, but it’s not quite what he expects.  We begin with Discord wearing his orange suit once again, accompanied by a jazzy tune we heard previously in Season 6’s “The Times They Are a Changeling” and “Viva Las Pegasus.”  After this, we get our first, albeit short, taste of the singing tea bags!  Expect a few more appearances from them in today’s score.
