 Hawaii s one of the worlds biggest suppliers of aquarium fish, in fact, they sell nearly a million tropical fish from the states coral reefs each year. This is, of course, cruel and also unsustainable, it’s also placed Hawaii’s coral reefs under greater stress. 

The coral has to deal with pollution, climate change and now the tropical fish market it's starting to add to the killing of the reef. Hawaii court has started to take steps against tropical fish poaching by invalidating 131 active aquarium fish collection permits.
