Driving Test Tips at http://www.ukadi.co.uk/2008/09/driving-test-tips.html There is NO SOUND of this video, I will upload another version with sound and what the driver did later. Check the video response section. Many learner drivers do not know if they should use the car horn during the DSA practical driving test, and think the examiner might give them a fault or even fail them for using it. So in this video which contains 2 scenarios, I want to know what you as a provisional licence holder would do on the driving test with the examiner sitting next to you. In the first one you are driving around 28mph on a 30mph country road with cars following behind, there is an oncoming vehicle, and you notice a van on the left reversing towards the main road. Should you slow down (and be ready to stop) in case it does not see you or should you sound your horn and not change speed? Second case you are approaching junction controlled by traffic lights, they are RED, but as you get closer they change to GREEN, 2 cars in front of you are not moving. Should you just wait until they notice lights have changed, or do you sound the horn? NOTE: THE LEARNER IS NOT THE PROBLEM!! Please give your answers explaining why.
