Take This Penguin - 451 ft

Me climbing 451 ft in a game I made for Ludum Dare 20 called 'Take This Penguin.' This isn't my best, but it was a okay run. I'm overall happy with the overall feel of the gameplay (rather smooth platforming). Had I started working on the game sooner (I wasted 26/48 hours thinking of an idea), I would've been able to implement more powerups or additional features. The theme for this LD was "It's dangerous to go alone! Take this!" Note: While standing, it is possible to position yourself to fit between two icicles. This ensures that there are no impossible permutations of falling icicles. Also, the icicle drop rate increases every 100 ft. The gameplay in the video has been sped up by 3x.
