Skoda Octavia facelift has been showcased at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. The facelift is seen with new split headlight design with also comes with options of full LED technology as against the bi-xenon and LED daytime running lights seen on its earlier counterpart. Changes to its front end include new bumper and fog lamp designs along with new tail lamps at the rear. The facelift sits on new 16” to 18” alloy wheels. Interiors receive added infotainment and technology features to include an updated Columbus infotainment system, larger 9.2” touchscreen display and WLAN hotspot. It also gets optional SIM card module with LTE speed for quicker internet facilities.A heated steering wheel, folding tables for passenger seats and customizable key allowing multiple users to save their own vehicle settings are also a part of the updated features on the new Skoda Octavia facelift. Rear traffic alert, front assist system, pedestrian protection, blind spot detection and trailer assistant in the event of towing a vehicle are a part of its safety features. Engine specifications on the Skoda Octavia facelift sees no change and continues to be powered by five TSI petrol and four TDI diesel engines ranging from 1.0 to 2.0 and with outputs varying from 84 hp to 184 hp.
