Mr. D'Souza's career with inventing begun while working in his mid 20's as a software developer for an agro firm as he designed a compact Gherkin Sorting Machine which revolutionized their business. Having been always passionately fond of mechanical horology he started inventing horological devices. He invented a Mechanical Perpetual Calendar, Three Large Date Display Mechanisms and a Differential Escape Mechanism. Recently he has been keenly working with the Visually Impaired- the result of which is the Multi- Line Refreshable Braille Display Paul believes in trying to use his creativity for some benefit to those who would benefit with some assistance! In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
