1. developing a comfortable physicality with the instrument
2. learning to hear, feel and seriously make contact with the sound of your instrument, starting at the level of one single note. Its a much more complex process than one would imagine!
3. making the guitar sing, so that the sound of each note is alive, warm and personal, in scales, melody playing, and improvisation.
