A year ago seven workers died in a fire in the Thyssen plant in the city of Turin. Prosecutors allege the German managers disregarded safety regulations and overworked their employees. Next month the managers are scheduled to appear in court and the boss of Thyssen's Italian subsidiary is even charged with manslaughter. It's the first case ever of its kind in Italian legal history and emotions are running high. The situation isn't helped by a new film about the Turin incident being shown in Italian cinemas which casts the German managers in an unfavorable light.
