Old game played on even older computer :D - Intel Celeron 1.8 Ghz - Willamette (128 KB Cache size ONLY!) - 2002 - GeForce 4 MX 440 with 8x AGP 64 MB - 2002 - VIA Chipset - 512 MB 33 Mhz RAM - 40 GB HDD 5400 rpm (P-ATA interface) - Windows XP SP3 Awesome, awesome, awesome!!! Since CMR 2005 can't run (and CMR 3 lags like hell) i tried the 2004 version which is just pure rally experience. I've seen its great reviews and must say i am hooked with it. Been playing it since Xmas. This is Stage 6 at Spain's rally. The car driven is Xsara Citroen with suspension only unlocked and the level is advanced. It was my second run - the fisrt was with Fiat Punto in 2WD class which also kicks ass! The game stutters no matter what settings i apply- 60+ fps or 30 fps; vsync locked or unlocked... The reason why it stutters is a weak CPU which is fast for its Ghz but lacks the cache size and the throughoutput is low, so at times (U turns/crowd) it stutters and lowers to 15 FPS for second or two which can be a major problem. But i am fine with it. The video here stutters because i recorded with Fraps which reduced framerate to avg. 14 from previous 40 when driving. Visual settings: - Distance: 5 - Shadows: OFF - FSAA: OFF - Textures: Medium Oh, i play it on keyboard with Onboard cam. Too lazy to hook up one of the steering wheels :D
