Yes, I'm here in Ghent, Belgium (northwest of Brussels) at a Deaf club event hosted at the office building where Fevlado is located. (Fevlado is a civil rights organization run by the Deaf focusing on the Flanders region of Belgium).

This event was one of many throughout the year and my Belgian friend, Jonathan, took me here to introduce me to all of the awesome Deaf people there. I still had been new to International Sign, but I think I was fairly good as I picked up on some of it while meeting and chatting with all of Deaf Belgians here. I definitely had a good time here.

Besides, there are three official languages in Belgium: Dutch, French and German. 

Just to clarify, Brussels is normally referred as the "neutral" region of Belgium for all languages whereas Flanders is the northern portion of Belgium and is usually the Dutch-speaking region, and Wallonia is the French-speaking region in the south. 

Both regions was not merged for the matters related mainly to culture and education. 

There is a small german-speaking region in the eastern portion named Liège, and that's where the very first Deaf Club was founded, according to my friend. The Liège Deaf club now contains the Belgian Deaf History Museum.
