In July 1999, Queensland Railways celebrated the 75th anniversary since the completion of the north coast mainline with a steam hauled tour along the entire length of the line from Brisbane to Cairns. BB18¼1079 and a train of heritage carriages was the consist. This video shows the sixth and seventh days of the journey, which featured a local tour around Mackay and then Mackay to Proserpine.
