This is the final part of the Playthrough. In this part, we complete Stage 4-1 and see the best ending. This stage consists of you flying around, attempting to kill as many enemies as you can to gain access to the area with Medusa. This stage contains Daphnes, Erinus, Moilas, Syrens, Totems, Zurees, Tanatos, and Medusa.

We encounter some new enemies in this stage:

Daphne: These flower-like enemies will jump up from the bottom of the screen slowly. They are pretty easy to shoot. Try to line up all four of them that appear, then shoot them all at once.

Erinus: These odd creatures walk around, sometimes firing projeectiles at Pit. When you shoot it, it'll split into three parts, which can damage Pit. It's not that difficult to kill.

Moila: In my opinion, these are the most annoying enemies in this stage. They will appear from behind, attempting to fly into Pit, then fly back to the left. It is pretty tricky to hit these things.

Syren: These guys come in groups of four, trying to fly into Pit. Try to shoot as many as you can with one shot. 

Totem: Totems are very simple enemies. They will either fall from the top of the stage, falling into a pit, or they will stack up on structures. The ones that fall to the bottom of the stage are hard to hit. You can shoot two of them in one group at most. The ones that stack up are very easy to kill. Just be careful one doesn't land on you.

Zuree: These ghosts fly up and down carelessly. They are not that hard to hit, but sometimes, they can be a pain. You just have to get the timing down.

Tanatos: When fighting Medusa, Tanatos will sometimes be summoned from Medusa's hair. One shot is enough to kill them.

Medusa: The final boss of the game. She has two ways of attacking: Firing beams out of her eye, or summoning Tanatos to attack you. Try to find an area where you can shoot Medusa's eye while avoiding her beams and Tanatos. Once you find the perfect area, you can just keep shooting Medusa's eye without any interruptions. After enough hits, the true form of Medusa will be shown, along with her collapsing. Angel Land is now saved.
